Aaron Ramsdale joins Petr Cech & Ederson in elite club after latest Arsenal clean sheet
Yesterday, Arsenal’s goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale had an impressive performance that helped the Gunners secure a challenging 2-0 victory against Newcastle United.
As a result, Ramsdale, who is an England international, has now achieved ten clean sheets in away games in the Premier League this season.
This is a rare feat, and only two other goalkeepers, Petr Cech and Ederson, have managed to achieve this. Ramsdale has joined an exclusive and elite club of goalkeepers who have the impressive record of ensuring their team does not concede a goal away from home.
Opta has confirmed that Ramsdale is one of only three goalkeepers who have managed to keep ten or more clean sheets in away games in a single season.

Although Aaron Ramsdale has had a good season overall, he did make a terrible mistake in the recent 3-3 draw against Southampton.
Despite this, he is becoming increasingly important for Arsenal. Ramsdale has only earned three caps for the England team so far, but if he continues to be a vital player for Arsenal, he will likely have the opportunity to add to his international appearances in the near future.
