“My rivalries comes from all my friends, so Trent Alexander-Arnold. I can’t let him score. He’s one of my closest friends and that is a major challenge for me,” he told the Premier League YouTube channel.
Ramsdale’s track record against Alexander-Arnold has been quite impressive so far. The Liverpool star has only managed to score a single goal against the clubs Ramsdale has played for throughout his career, and that goal occurred during a match against Bournemouth in a 9-0 victory at Anfield earlier this season.
Furthermore, in the encounters between Ramsdale and Alexander-Arnold, the Arsenal goalkeeper has been successful in preventing the Liverpool player from scoring. In fact, Alexander-Arnold has yet to find the back of the net in any of their 13 matchups.
