“I don’t understand…” – Arsenal player hits back at the FA after being handed written warning
Oleksandr Zinchenko, a prominent footballer for Arsenal, has expressed doubts about the warning letter he received from the Football Association (FA) after the team’s victory against Fulham in August.
At that time, Arsenal had won their first three matches in the Premier League and hoped to continue their success against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium.
With a late goal from Gabriel Magalhaes, they secured a 2-1 victory. Fans in the stadium erupted in celebration at the end of the game, and many saw the win as a sign that Arsenal could be a serious contender for the Premier League title this season.
In a recent interview, Zinchenko discussed an incident where he celebrated his team’s victory over Fulham in a manner that drew a warning letter from the Football Association.
Although he did not play in the match, Zinchenko ran towards his teammates and celebrated wildly after Gabriel’s goal.
The FA subsequently sent him a letter of warning, and he later apologized for his behavior. Zinchenko has now talked about the incident in a new interview.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Zinchenko stated that he did not understand the reaction to his celebrations.
He said: “We are not robots, we are human beings.
“We’re just doing our job and when this job is successful, why are we not allowed [to celebrate]? I don’t understand.
“Of course we didn’t win the Premier League yet and there are still a lot of games to play. But every single game in the Premier League is so tough… that’s why we celebrate.”
At present, Arsenal are leading the Premier League by eight points over second-placed Manchester City, despite having played one more game.
Their next game will be against Leeds at the Emirates on April 1st after the international break. They will then travel to Anfield to face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool eight days later.
