‘I really do’: Gabriel Agbonlahor now predicts who’s winning on Wednesday – Manchester City or Arsenal

Gabriel Agbonlahor, a pundit for TalkSPORT, has expressed his belief that Manchester City will score “three or four” goals against Arsenal in their crucial title clash scheduled for next Wednesday.

The Gunners recently drew 3-3 with Southampton, requiring two late goals to salvage a point.

As a result, they have dropped six points in their last three games, allowing Manchester City to narrow the gap to just five points at the top of the table. Manchester City also has the advantage of having two games in hand over Arsenal going into the match.

Although Arsenal must avoid losing to maintain their title aspirations, Agbonlahor predicts that Mikel Arteta’s team could suffer a heavy defeat.

Agbonlahor backs City to beat Arsenal

Gabriel Agbonlahor, a TalkSPORT pundit, stated in an interview that he believes Manchester City will be too dominant for Arsenal in their upcoming match, resulting in a comfortable victory for City.

“I think Manchester City will put three or four past this Arsenal team on Wednesday, I really do,” the former Aston Villa man said.

“You’ll play [Riyad] Mahrez or Bernardo Silva on [Oleksandr] Zinchenko, [Erling] Haaland will be in the changing room saying ‘guys, I can’t wait to play against Holding and Gabriel.”

Jamie O’Hara suggested that Arsenal could have a chance of winning with Bukayo Saka in their team, but Gabriel Agbonlahor didn’t agree.

“Man City have got world-beaters in every position, De Bruyne in the middle. Xhaka could be ill for Wednesday,” Agbonlahor responded.

“They’re missing another top midfielder in there, Declan Rice may be coming in the summer. Gabriel Jesus’ finishing. Yes, Saka and Martinelli will cause problems, of course they will.

“But I just think this Man City team is going to be looking at Arsenal thinking ‘you really thought you were going to win the league? You don’t know us, we wait until the second-half of the season, we turn it on’ and they’re going to be too strong for them.”

Despite their recent form, Arsenal has shown that they can compete with Manchester City. However, Mikel Arteta will know that a victory against the reigning champions could put them back on track for the title race.

A draw would also keep them in the hunt. Arsenal needs to break their slump in form, and Wednesday’s match at the Etihad Stadium presents an excellent opportunity to do so.
