Ian Wright Shares Instant Reaction After Arsenal Goalless Draw V Manchester City At Etihad
The top-of-the-table match between Arsenal and Manchester City took place at Etihad Stadium this evening, and the game ended in a goalless draw.
Both teams missed several excellent opportunities to win all three points, but they eventually settled for a draw.
In their match against the defending champions, the North Londoners put up a staunch defence, with France international center-back William Saliba consistently neutralising the danger posed by Norway international attacker Erling Braut Haaland.
Despite the fact that Arsenal will be disappointed by their lack of ability to score goals, they may take some comfort in the fact that they were able to put a stop to Manchester City’s streak of scoring in 57 consecutive matches played at home.
The Gunners have the strongest defence in the country, and they will be hoping that they can win the title in the Premier League by achieving enough levels of success in the nine games that are still left.
After coming to social media site X (which was then known as Twitter) to express his reaction to the outcome, Ian Wright expressed his satisfaction with the performance that Arsenal displayed, despite the dull draw.
He praised the team’s development over the course of the last year.
If we lost they would have said inexperience, not learnt from last season or lack of game management. Great point and clean sheet 🤝🏾 Luton next. @swp29 🫂 pic.twitter.com/BPkDYsUdyN

Arsenal will be eager to go back to winning ways after losing the top place to Liverpool as a consequence of the draw. They will be hosting Luton Town on Wednesday and will be eager to get back to their winning ways.
It is expected that the three-horse battle for the title in the Premier League will become even more exciting in the coming weeks. The Reds are now in first place in the Premier League standings, with two points separating them from Arsenal.
Given their recent good run, the Gunners will be relatively optimistic that they will be able to get the job done despite the fact that they have the most difficult matches out of the three teams. They will be playing away games against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, and they will also be playing at home against Chelsea.
While all is going on, Manchester City will be playing Aston Villa on Wednesday, and they will also be travelling to Tottenham Hotspur.
Although Liverpool will face Manchester United and Tottenham, nothing can be said for certain at this point since the other teams who are competing for the championship still have challenging obstacles to overcome in the coming weeks.
