Mykhailo Mudryk brutally answers a fan who asked for selfie before mocking him with Arsenal jibe
Mykhailo Mudryk delivered a harsh retort to an Arsenal supporter who taunted him immediately after requesting a photo together.
Despite facing initial challenges at Chelsea, the Ukrainian player remains a beloved figure among the younger soccer enthusiasts.
A particular supporter recently succeeded in getting a photo with the winger, only to then mock him. The Arsenal fan commented to the winger, saying, “North London is red.”
Mudryk, who had been a target for Arsenal before his £88.5 million transfer to Stamford Bridge, was taken aback by the remark.
He replied: “Why [are] you asking for a photo then?”
Video of the interaction quickly spread across the internet, leading to a flood of comments on the social media platform X.
One viewer said: “You shouldn’t be asking for a photo if London is red.”
Another said: “Don’t mess with Mudryk.”
And another said: “That’s a good reply. “Why ask for the photo then?”
One remarked: “Man with a savage response.”
Another chimed in: “I love this guy.”
One Chelsea fan said: “We’ve got a fighter in him.”
Another of the Stamford Bridge faithful said: “Good response Mykhailo!
“Time to smoke them next Saturday.”
Mudryk has encountered difficulties in acclimating to the challenging requirements of the Premier League since his transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk in January.
The 22-year-old has managed to score only once in 25 appearances and has contributed just two assists.
Mudryk, along with his Chelsea teammates, is scheduled to return to the field on October 21, as they prepare to host their London rivals, Arsenal, at Stamford Bridge.
