Neymar Urged to Choose Arsenal Over Newcastle for Next Career Move
Former Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva has given advice to PSG star Neymar Jr. regarding his potential departure from the club.
As rumors of Neymar leaving PSG continue to grow, Silva suggested that his compatriot consider joining Arsenal instead of Newcastle United.
Despite Newcastle’s potential to secure a Champions League spot next season, thanks to their Saudi owners, Gilberto believes Neymar should follow in his footsteps and move to North London.
According to recent reports from France, it seems that Neymar is seeking a way out of his current club, PSG. This is partly due to the fact that fans have made it clear that they no longer want him on the team. The situation for Neymar at PSG has become increasingly difficult, as fans even went so far as to gather outside his home in protest, demanding that he leave the club.
Speaking on this matter, Gilberto expressed his disappointment at the fans’ behaviour. He said, “The last few weeks at PSG have been very strange for Neymar. Seeing people go to his house; I don’t agree with this, fans are not allowed to go to a player’s house to protest.”
Further advocating for Neymar’s move to Arsenal, Silva added, “I would love to see him at Arsenal instead of Newcastle because I love the boy as a player, but he also has a lot to contribute to football.”
While a potential move to Arsenal could be a great achievement for the team considering Neymar’s outstanding talent and experience, there are other clubs such as Newcastle United that are also in contention for his signature. It remains to be seen which club Neymar will ultimately choose to continue his footballing career with.
However, it is highly unlikely that Neymar will end up playing for Arsenal, regardless of the rumors or speculations surrounding his potential move.
