Paul Merson Predicts The Outcome As Arsenal Plays Against Fulham
Paul Merson, a former Arsenal player, is predicting that Arsenal will win with ease in their upcoming match against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon.
Despite both teams having an offensive style of play, Merson thinks that Arsenal, under the leadership of Mikel Arteta, will possess the necessary skill to overcome their opponents.
“Arsenal are probably going to be just two points clear of Manchester City by the time they start this game. The Gunners need to keep their lead over City intact until the two sides meet next (27 April) or at least until Arsenal play Liverpool (9 April) away from home.”
“They have to win this game. Fulham have done great but they’ll miss Joao Palhinha dearly. Fulham are not playing Arsenal off the pitch in this one. Both teams play expansive football and if the better players rise to the occasion, Arsenal should be able to get the win here.”
Despite Fulham’s impressive home record this season, Paul Merson has boldly predicted a 3-0 win for Arsenal.
While acknowledging Fulham’s ability to take points off top teams, Merson points out that the absence of midfielder Joao Palhinha due to suspension could give Arsenal an advantage.
Palhinha is known for his ability to disrupt the opposition’s attacks, and without him, Arsenal may have more freedom to play their game and secure the win.
