Saudi Arabian clubs revive interest in Arsenal star – will make a move in 2024
Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ahli are gearing up for another attempt to acquire Arsenal’s Thomas Partey, having been unsuccessful in their pursuit during the summer.
Al-Ahli had shown interest in the Ghanaian midfielder, along with other Premier League players, when Arsenal was open to selling the 30-year-old following the acquisition of Declan Rice from West Ham, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Ekrem Konur reveals that Al-Ettifaq and Al-Ahli have reignited their interest in Partey and are planning to make a move for the Arsenal player in 2024.
Nevertheless, they may face competition from Juventus, who have been long-time admirers of the talented Ghanaian midfielder.

Foot Mercato reports that Thomas Partey and his representatives have engaged in discussions with Juventus in anticipation of the January transfer window, contemplating a potential move during the mid-season period.
Juventus, having lost Paul Pogba to a ban resulting from a failed drugs test earlier in the year, have identified Partey as their desired replacement for the World Cup winner in their squad.
Given that the 30-year-old midfielder’s contract at the Emirates runs until 2025, a sale in 2024 would be an opportune choice for Arsenal, especially considering that Partey is not as integral to Mikel Arteta’s plans as he once was.
