Sky Sports pundit says Bukayo Saka would win Ballon d’Or if he was at Real Madrid
Jay Bothroyd, a Sky Sports analyst, gave high commendation to Bukayo Saka, the Arsenal player, for his impressive performance in the match against Everton last night.
Arsenal won the game 4-0, which began as a challenging game but ended up being an easy win. Although Sean Dyche’s team played well in the first half, Arsenal took control of the game after Saka scored the first goal.
According to Bothroyd, Saka, who is only 21 years old, is now one of the best wingers globally.
For years, Arsenal supporters have acknowledged Bukayo Saka’s abilities, and now the rest of the world is starting to recognize them. At only 21 years old, the Englishman has already amassed ten goals and nine assists in the Premier League this season, which is an outstanding achievement for a wide player of his age.
Once again, Saka proved to be the key player for Arsenal in their recent match. He scored a superb goal to open the scoring in the 40th minute and then dispossessed Idrissa Gueye before providing the assist for Gabriel Martinelli’s first goal.
Jay Bothroyd, who watched the match, was thoroughly impressed with Saka and felt that the Arsenal number seven does not receive enough recognition for his performances.
He said on Sky Sports: “Saka is one of the best wingers in the world. Let’s get it right.
“He doesn’t get enough praise. If he was playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona, he would be up for Ballon d’Or awards.
“He has been fantastic this year. He’s such a young player as well but he’s Arsenal’s talisman and he’s made a big, big difference today.”
Jay Bothroyd’s statement about Bukayo Saka’s abilities may seem like a bold claim, but it is hard to argue against it. Saka is currently playing for Arsenal in the toughest league in the world, and he consistently impresses with his performances. He is an exceptional winger who not only scores goals but also creates opportunities for his teammates.
With 20 direct goal contributions in just 25 Premier League games, Saka’s productivity is nothing short of remarkable, especially considering he is only 21 years old. If he maintains this form, he could even reach 30 goal contributions, which would be an extraordinary achievement.
As Arsenal are currently five points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the table, they have a good chance of winning the title, and Saka’s contributions will undoubtedly be essential in securing their success.
