Three Arsenal players ‘ruled out’ of clash v West Ham – Injury expert
Ben Dinnery, an expert on injuries, predicts that Arsenal will be without three starters for their upcoming Premier League match against West Ham.
After a thrilling 2-2 draw against Liverpool, Mikel Arteta’s squad will look to maintain their grip on first place with a victory at the London Stadium.
Takehiro Tomiyasu, who has been “ruled out” for the remainder of the 2022/23 season, is currently unavailable for the Gunners. Dinnery has also indicated that Mohamed Elneny will not play against the Hammers due to a knee injury (Premier injuries).
Eddie Nketiah is also absent and is not expected back until April 21. William Saliba’s absence from the 1-1 draw at Anfield is a concern, and Dinnery estimates that the 22-year-old’s chances of playing are 50 percent.
This is a crucial contest for both teams. Arsenal realizes that Manchester City is now hot on their heels and will need a victory at the London Stadium to keep Pep Guardiola’s squad at bay. The Gunners have demonstrated throughout the season that they are one of the best teams, making this matchup an extremely difficult test for David Moyes’ squad.
West Ham has struggled to attain consecutive victories. The Hammers will be in a relegation dogfight until they establish a consistent run of form. Saturday was a good day because Everton, Leeds, Leicester, and Southampton all suffered defeats.
Despite Moyes’ team’s recent success, they are only three points clear of the relegation zone and will need at least three more victories to secure their Premier League status for the 2023/24 season.
