‘Unlucky’: Jurgen Klopp delivers fresh Arsenal claim
According to the official website of Liverpool FC, Jurgen Klopp, the team’s manager, has stated that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team were fortunate to win against Bournemouth in the Premier League game played at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Saturday.
Klopp made these remarks after Liverpool’s 7-0 victory over Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.
Arsenal managed to secure a 3-2 win over Bournemouth in their home ground in the same league fixture.
At a point during the match, Bournemouth had a lead of two goals, but the team from North London made a recovery in the second half and ended up winning the game by a score of 3-2. The decisive goal was scored by Reiss Nelson towards the end of the match.
In the upcoming weekend, Liverpool will play against Bournemouth as visitors in the Premier League.
Klopp said: “Now we have five days or so of time to prepare for Bournemouth; they were unlucky yesterday against Arsenal not to get a point at least. We have to make sure we are ready for that fight.”
Bournemouth might be disappointed not to have won against Arsenal despite being ahead by 2-0 at one point. Nonetheless, Arsenal worked hard to turn the match in their favor and scored three impressive goals.
It is our opinion that Arsenal played better throughout the game, and therefore, they deservedly earned all three points from the match. The credit goes to Mikel Arteta and his team for their efforts.
