Arsenal player produces one of the saves of the season to deny Newcastle’s Fabian Schar
In the Premier League match between Arsenal and Newcastle, Aaron Ramsdale made an outstanding save to prevent Fabian Schar of Newcastle from scoring.
After 50 minutes of play, Martin Odegaard had already scored a goal, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead. Kieran Trippier then took a free-kick and Schar headed the ball powerfully towards the Arsenal goal.
Despite the ball appearing to be going in, Ramsdale managed to use his right hand to keep it out of the net.
The Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler was very impressed with the save, and he praised Ramsdale’s excellent performance, calling it one of the best saves of the season. You can watch the save in the video below:
